« [from our own correspondent.] Hamilton, Monday. At the Police Court this morning, before the Mayor and Mr. M. E. Edgeeumb, J. Philpoc Curran was charged with being drunk and assaulting the police in the execution of their duty, and fined 10s, or forty-eight hours' imprisonment; and two months, with hard labour, for the assault on the constables. The Te Aroha coach going out this morning broke down about five miles from Hamilton, and the passengers (ten in number), amongst whom is Dr. Kilgour, of the Thames, have just walked into Hamilton again.
