[BY TELEGRArH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Ohinemutu, Tuesday. At the Native Lands Court to-day the Ngatiwhakaue tribe presented a petition to His Honor Judge Symonds, asking him to use his influence to prevent the sale of liquors during the sitting hours of the Court, as they were desirous to have the deliberations carried on with earnestness and sobriety. The natives are giving every assistance towards the completion of the township settlement.
