SALE OF THE PARIHAKA LANDS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.. —SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT. ]
Wellington, Wednesday. I hear that a block of Parihaka land, about 5000 acres in extent, will be placed in the market very shortly. It is situated between Cape Egmont and the Warea river, nearly opposite Parihaka settlement, and on the sea coast. The land is somewhat inferior in quality to Waimate.
