THE DOMAIN.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sie, —You have been inundated with complaints on this subject, but I have not yet seen any practical remedy suggested. How would it do to obtain the opinion of practical men as to what is best to b>3 now done to remedy the mischief, and to prevent the same thing happening again. The opinion of Messrs. Wren, Palmer, and Hay would surely be of value, and, I have no doubt, for a consideration, they would draw up such a report; and if one or all of them were retained to advise and consult with the Domain Board as to their future operations, it would, surely, be money wisely spent. Everyone agrees that very serious injury has been done, and it is better to forget the wretched past, take warning by past errors, and employ the best practical and professional advice obtainable, even at an annual outlay, than go on in this wretched muddle.—l am, &C., QUERCFS.
