THEATRE ROYAL: THE LINGARDS.
© " Our Boys " drew a large house on Saturday night, and was admirably played. People never seem to tire of sseeing Mr. Lingard as Middlewick or Mrs. .Lingard aa Mary Melrose. To judge from the applause which greeted some of the most telliug eccentricities of the old " butteraan," and the arch and piquant sallies of the beautiful dependent of the aristocratic Sir Geoffrey Champneys, the appreciation of the performance was almost enthusiastic. But other than the principal parts claim high commendation. Chief of these was Mrs. FitzWilliams' Aunt Clarissa. It would be difficult to discover comedy more genuine than this particular part, as represented on Saturday night. Miss Adel'le, as the " slavey," exhibited very striking proof of versatile talent. Miss Huron played Laura Champneys very effectively. 0:f Mr. Overton as Sir Geoffrey, Mr. Craig as Talbot Champneys, and Mr. Steele as Charley Middlewick, it is not necessary to speak. The whole was an excellent performance. To-night, the Lingards open with comedy opera, " H.M.S. Pinafore " standing firet on the list, Mr. Lingard as Sir Joseph Porter, and Mrs. Liogard aa Josephine,
