We see by the Fiji Times that the Auckland brigantine Borealis is not returning at present to this port. The same paper says:—"The brigantine Borealis, a fine new clipper-looking vessel, which lately arrived from Auokland, has been chartered by the Government to enter the labour trade. She is entored out at the Customs for the New Hebrides Group, but will not leave before the Ist of April, when it is to be hoped the whole fleet of vessels will be ready to leave. On Friday, 12th ult., Mr. James McCulloch submitted to publio auction the wreck of the schooner Ariel, stranded in Suva harbour during the blow of December last. Mr. Lomax has a yard within a short distance of the sosne of the vessel's mishap, and expresses bis ability to have the Ariel afloat and in Levuka harbour within one month. Owing to the inolemency of the weather the advertised sale of timber did not take place. The barque Stag sailed on the 27th ult. from Newcastle for this port, and is therefore 18 days out.
