THE STRIKE OF TELEGRAPH OPERATORS.
[by telegraph, united press association.] Wellington, Saturday. All but two of the operators who were on strike hero have resumed work.
Blenheim, Saturday. The operators seem more determined and I confident than ever. Seven or eight have obtained employment. It is stated that a public subscription list will be opened to assist them when their funds run short. Several cadets frjm Wellington arrived this morning. Dunbdin, Saturday. The operators on strike say they have never been fairly dealt with, and are urging the Government to make a searching inquiry before taking decisive action against the strikers. Later. All operators of the Dnnedin office are still on strike. Dune' in, Sunday. Nothing new with regard to the telegraph operators' strike. The Dunedia men still hold out.
