O'Brien'a Little John ... . 2 White's Sultana 3 Oamaru Ccv. Butlers's Mina 1 Keith's Soukar 2 Mason and Vallanco's Vampire 3 Time, omius. 40secs. Selling Race. McKay's Deception 1 Jones's Seven Bells , ... 2 Cameron's Emerald 3 Waitaki Countv Plate. Hill's Unknown 1 O'Brien'a Little John 2 McFasgon's Luck's All 3 Pony Race. Mac Cor Kendall's Spider 1 Publicans' Handicap. Keith's Soukar 1 Mason and Vallancc's Vampire 2 The second day's racing took place yesterday. There was a marked falliDg off in the attendance. The racing altogether has been the moat successful and satisfactory witnessed here for years. Hurdle Pack. Butler's To Whetu, lOst. lOlbe 1 O'Brien's Little John, 9st. lOlbs 2 Hill's Unknown, Ost. lOlbs 3 Theodore and Hiwikiki also ran. Te YVhitl ran off with the leid ; and, although Little John was pushed hard, he -won with something to spare ; Theodore and Hiwikiki fell. The Hack Hurdle Race was won by Keith's Ada, after a good race. Oamaru Jockey Clue Handicap. Butler's Numa, Sat. lOlbs 1 Keith's Souk.ir, 7st. lllhs 2 Webb's Adamant, 7st. 3!bs 3 This was the best race ever witnessed on the Oimaru course. Tliu hurses hal b-.eu well handicapped, and after a desperate race Nuina won by a short half-lci^th. Waitaki County Handicap. McKay's Blue Peter, Cat. libs 1 Hill's Unknown, 9st 2 Hobson's Pukere, ost. lOlbs 3 Unknown had the advantage ot a gool start, but was quickly Bnx>planted by Blue Peterj who won comfortably by a leugth.
