The vicinity of tho i'olica Court, and the thoroughfare to it from the depot, wore crowded this morning by a largo assemblage. Michael McCavery, Tiiomis uawley, Patrick Cuddity, aad Michael Connelly—the four men chirged with riot and assault—wens brought to Court seuarately from the Depot, under a etrong escort. They were remanded until Monday, on the application of Superintendent Broham, as the moinbere of the force had been on duty for 24 hours, and were nniblo to complete the evidence. The injured men at the hospital are progressing favo-irably. THE ATTACK. PREMEDITATED. The Slur to-night refers to the rnmoura current as to previous preparation for yesterday's attack on the O.angemen having been maile at Barrett's Hotel. The action taken by the licensing authorities in closing the hotel until after New Year's Day is unanimously approved. BAIL REFUSED. The Bench this morning absolutely refined to allow the •<■ ur alleged rioters to bail on any consideration. AN ACCIDENT. Mr. Nathan, while acting last night as a special const ible at Banett's Hotel, was knocked down and run over by a cab which was being driven through the ranks. When seen by a medical ni:ui, it was found that, though he had received several contused wouuda on the leg, no boaes were broken. RENEWAL OF THE RIOTS EXPECTED.

Tho special conetaMes have to parade to-morrow night, but they are not expected to ba dismissed, as there appears to be some fear whether the disturbance may not be renewed on New Year's eve.
