It is reported on excellent authority that the Government have received definite inforraatiou that not more than £'3,000,000 of the £5,000,000 loan can be floated at present; that the remainder cannot be floated for some time, and that after the completion of the £5,000,000 ljaa New Zealand must guaraut.-e not to g-> into the London market again lor two years.
