A grass known in the Southern States of America as Dennett's grass (Elyvws slirtus) is very highly spoken of as a valuable winter grasa. Will some of onr friends who import American seeds bear this in mind -when forwarding their next order? Tho grasß ii a native of Louisiana. The Pemiaim agrostoides, commonly called Munro grass, has also come into great favour in the Southern States of late years. It is a verytall grass, resembling in appearance the Guinea grass.—Queenslander.
