During the passage she had the tiller broken by a sudden jerk, but, owing to the preventing chain, »he was safely steered into port. Sailed : Tho s.s. Hawei, for Lyttelton, atlp.ro."; the Emerald, ketch, for Lyttelton; tho Kiwi, for Nnpier and East Coast. NELSON. June 6. —Sailed: The e.s.
