WELLINGTON. June 6.—Arrived : The «,s. Taiaroa, from Pictoß, at noon, with tho San Francisco mail; the Huia, from Kiukoura, and Lyttelton ; the Hiiwea, from Auckland, via the East Coast; the Kingarooma, from Melbourne, Hobart Town, and tho South; the Grafton, from Westport and Greymouth ; the Mary Pleverley, brigantine, from Clarence Kiver, with a cargo of timber for Kail way Wharf; the fiangatira, from Wanganui, New Plymouth, and the Manukau. During the passage she had the tiller broken by a sudden jerk, but, owing to the preventing chain, »he was safely steered into port. Sailed : Tho s.s. Hawei, for Lyttelton, atlp.ro."; the Emerald, ketch, for Lyttelton; tho Kiwi, for Nnpier and East Coast. NELSON. June 6. —Sailed: The e.s. Wallace, for Westport, at 10.30 a.m., with the San Francisco mail ; tho s.s. Wellington, for New Plymouth, at 7 p.m. PICTON. June 6.—Sailed: The s.s. Taiaroa, for Wellington, at 5 a.m. LYTTELTON. June 6.—Arrived : The Oreti, from the North. Sailed: The Buttermere, for London; the Thames, for Auckland; tho Southern Cross, for Wellington. PORT CHALMERS. June 6.—Arrived : The Elibaok Ct.stle, from Oainaru. Sailed: The Eliza. McPhee, for lliverton; the Waikato, for Northern ports. Passengers :—For Lyttelton—Mesdameii Agassiz and Dunning. For Wellington — Messrs. O'Keilly, Flyun, and Gamble. For Tauranga —Miss Agassiz, Masters Agassiz (2). For Poverty Bay —Mr. J. Gibson.
