Sudgwich Saunde s, the Medical Officer of Health for the city of Loudon, and have obtained the following results Specillc gravity of the Whisky, 0 SOi.oJ Specific gravity of the distillate from ditto, 9.5Q4,2. It is, therefore, a strong spirit, being 10.S degrees ' over proof, according to fykes. It contains no sugar, aud only a m»«re trace of fixed matter, in the form of colouring matter ; it has the flavour of good whisky, and is remarkably free from fusil oil. T.
