POLICE COURT.—Wednesday.
rtiefora G. M. Mitford, Efq., J.P.] Vagrancy.—Mary Galvin was charged with a breach of the Vagrant Act by being found by night without lawful excuse in an unenclosed garden o.i Government House grounds. She pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to a month's imprisonment. Nuisance. — Arthur Guyon Purchas was charged with allowing filthy matter to llow from his premises, in Newton, on to a public street. The charge was withdrawn, Mr. Tyler stating that the case was settled.
