A special meeting of the Auckland Diocesan Sunday-school Association is to be held at St. Paul's Parsonage this afternoon, at half past four o'clock. '■' i Tenders are invited by Mr. E. Mahoney, until the 23rd instant, for alterations and additions to the premises of the Bank of New Zealand at Napier. A meeting of those interested in the closing of the Newmarket Slaughter-house will be held at the British Hotel oh Wednesday evening, at 7.30. To-day Mr. H. C. Greenwood will sell by auction, at the Market-house, 41 allotments in the township of Greytown, at tho Whau. The allotments are tho property of Mr. James Palmer, and the terms upon which they are offered are favourable to the purchasers. Lithographic plans have been prepared, and c.\n be obtained from the auctioneer.
