Tho B. B. and S. B. shipments of new season's teas were offered at Mr. Threlkeld's rooms this morning, and a portion, iu boxes, quitted by auction and privately, at from 14s Od to los 3d. Also, a quantity of faulty goods, including Guinness' stout at 8s od, Tennant's aio at 7s od, currants at candles At Od, sound Now Zealand butter at IOJd. was good competition for wool at the public Bales hold to-day, and priccs were very firm. Tho principal lots offered were scoured, and the bulk were sold at from lid to 23d. A large number of sheepskins were catalogued, and nearly r.U changcd hands at from od to GJd for long growth, 4d to 4}d for short and inferior, Is each for salted pelty, 2a lOd to 4s for salted skins. Melbourne.—The Argus of the 16th inst. reports Breadstuff's are moving off steadily for ordinary wants, as far as re spects llour. Bales for actual requirements being reported at £15 15s, and a shade over. We also hear of further sales for export of close on 100 tonß, making the entire quantity sold this week for shipment 300 tons. Telegrams have been received from Queensland stating that the Melbourno milled flour sent there has been thoroughlj* tested and highly approved of. Sydney advices just received state that the iucoming Californian mail steamer brings 200 tons flour for ono of the colonies, but for which does not appear to be known yet. "Wheat is quiet, and we aro without sales to report; 7s 5d is required for any good samples to be met with. Oats are firm, and feeding are oaleablo at 3s Sd to 4s Id. Maize is moving off freely at 4s. Sugars attract little attention, and beyond ordinary routine sales, no business is allowed to transpire. Teas have not been marked by any further business. Kerosena oil is evidently firmer, and the market appears to have seen its lowest for tho present. A line of CO tons old Patna rico has been quit* ted at an improved figure. Hennessy's bulk brandy is better; we hear of a fair parcel having been sold at S3 7d, and in ono instance that price was refused.
