A commodious room has been opened as ft Commercial Room, having its entrance from Victoriastreet, for the comfort of thoso who do not care to use the Bar or Beer-room, and this has been fitted up in a Btylo that can scarcely be surpassed in this city. It is situated 24 miles from Auckland, with which there la daily communication by steamer. The mineral Hot Baths are noted for tho cure of Gout, Rheumatism, Sciatica, and many other ailments to which human flesh is heir. For the tourist or convalescent there are Ashing, shooting, &c.; for the lovers of nature there is some of tho finest scenery w the colonies. It has now become a fashionable aud favourite resort for invalids seeking health and for ni'U of business requiring relaxation from care or that moderate recreation which is essential to mental and bodily wcll-heing. A Church is being erected, and Government have decided to make it a Telegraph Station. In conjunctiOJ with tho Waiwera, the proprietor baa, at considerable expense, fitted up the Ellerslie Motel, tthieb is situated at the Ellerslie Railway Station, half-way between Auckland and Onehunga, with Hot and Cold Baths, a supply of tho Waiwera is always kept there for bathing or drinking purposes. Kvery information given to tourists or visitors by Mr. Brown, the Manager, and freo access to tho beautiful Ellerslie Gardens. Charges moderate. # The following is one of tlio numerous testimonials which grateful patients have given to the merits of the "Waiwera Establishment: — "We, the undersigned, having visited the Hot ' Springs, "Vaiwera, near Auckland, are unanimous in our praise of the beauty of the place, the luxury of tho baths, and the health-restoring benefits received, and which we have witnessed and felt, through the wonderful curative properties in tho mcdicinal waters of the establishment, much pleasure in recommending the Waiwera Baths to the healthy i seeking recrcution and comfort, to the invalid for a rcj newal of health and happiness, and in no other place ; in our travels have we enjoyed ourselves more or felt more comfortable, in tho accommodation afforded, than at this excellent Hotel, possessing all that the most fastidious could desire.
