WILSON'S PALACE CIRCUS.
A capital performance was given at Wilson's Palace Circus last evening. The reduction in the price of admission -was duly appreciated, and the place was crowded. A new programme was put forward, and m every respect the entertainment was a success. Mr. Kingley's beautiful trained horses delighted all who witnessed their performance. They dance, waltz, and gallep very gracefully, and keep excellent time, and change their step, position or action, instantly upon receiving the command from their trainer. Several of the feats performed by them were novel and difficult. One of the horses had a revolver fixed on its back with a cord to the trigger, and whilst galloping round the circus fired the revolver by catching the cord in its mouth and pulling it whenever the order was given. The horse then surrendered by kneeling down and placing its forehead on the ground. Othtv tricks equally clever were performed by the horses, and elicited much applause. The jumping and tumbling was as good as usual; and the knife and x»stol feat, by Al Hadj Homo, was an attraction of itself. Mdle. Gracie received great applause for her performance on the single trapeze. The lady riders, Mdles Annie and Herbert, acquitted themselves satisfactorily. The whole of the riding was well managed, especially the twohorse hurdle race by Master Johnny Cooke. Mdle. Kosa with her juggliDg on the running globe gave a very pleasing variety to the programme. The performance by this lady was as difficult as it was graceful and well accomplished. A grand matinee performance will be given this afternoon, commencing at three o'clock. Children will be admitted to all parts of the house at halfprice, and the inmates of the Orphan Institutions have been kindly invited to witness the performance. The Circua is well worth visiting, and the day performance will afford a good opportunity to school children and other 3of paying it a visit.
