TARANAKI TEAM V. AUCKLAND UNITED O.C. On the resumption of this match in the Domain yesterday the score stood as follows :— Taranaki, first innings - 27 Auckland United Cricket Club - - 128 Leaving 101 runs to the credit of the A.U. C. C. The Taranaki men only succeeded in totalling 46 in the second innings, 27 o£ which were made by J. 0. Daviea in good style. Mr. Buckland's bowling proved to be too much for them, as on reference to the score it will be seen that he succeeded in taking Six wickets. Mr. 'Willis managed the remainder. This is the only match in winch the Taranaki team hare been beaten xn one innings. At the conclusion of the match the Taranaki men gare the A.U.C.
