Tenders will be received at til© Superintendents Office Auckland, until noon of MONDAY, the 20th day of December, 1875, from persons willing to purchase debentures to be sold by the I üblic Buildings Commissioners under the authority of the public Buildings Act, 1575, and secured on the pieces of laud set forth in Schedule 2 of the said Act. total amount proposed to bo issued at present is ±,20,000. The Debentures bear interest at the rate of 7 percent. per annum, payable half-yearly. The Principal to be repaid at par, by the application to annual drawings of 1 per cent. Sinking tuna. 1 ho Debentures will be issued in amounts of £100 ea i*art or the property up.-'n which the Debentures are charged is at present leased, and prduces an annual income of 4:1000 per annum, being sullicient to cover the Interest and Siukiug Fuml on tho amouut of Debentures now proposed to be issued. A portion of the old Supremo Court Site remains to be leased together with other valuable properties.
