Arthur's sale of leasehold and freehold properties was well attended, and for most of the lots smart competition. Hobson-street leasehold, for the term of 7 years:—Lot 1, 6-ronmed dwelling, at £26-per year; lot 2, 5 roomed dwelling, at £24, per year; lot 3, 5-roomed dwelling and 4-roomed cottage, at £32; per year; lot 4, 5-roomed dwelling, at £25 per year; lot 5, carpenter's shop, at £14 per year; lot 6; ■ 5-roomed house, at £25 per year; lot 7, 5-roomed house, at £22 per year; lot S, 5-roomed house and workshop, at £22, per year: lot 9, double shop and 11 rooms, at £50; lot 10, double shop and 8 rooms, at £32 per year. Epsom property, on l-'Ase for 21 years, each allotment one acre and over: —Lot 1, £14: lot 2, £G; lot 8, £4 10s; lots 4 to S, £4; lot 10, £6; lots 11 and 12, £4each; lots 14 and 15, £4 each; lots 9,13. 16, 17. and 18 were withdrawn for £4 per year. Freehold allotments: Great North Road, 21s to 30s per foot; James-street, 9s to lis per foot; Stanley-street, 9s per foot; Homestreet, 0s per foot; Monmouth-street, is 6d per foot; Kepple nnd Cracroft-streets, 2a 6d per foot.
