PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
Despite the very unfavourable weather on Saturday night, there was a fair audience to witness *' Kathleen Mavourneen," and the burlesque of "La Sonnambula." The hero :ind heroine in the first piece were well ylayed by Miss Carry George and Mr. Collier. The lady was exceedingly happy in parts as the artless peasant girl, and in the more pathetic scenes, notably the last parting with her lover, she fairly carried the house with her. Mr. Collier both looked and played Terence well, and his eongs—"Pat Molloy" especially —seeming to meet the taste of the audience. Mr. Lawrence, as Red Rody, was a villainous villain, and the other parts were fairly taken. The .burlesque was a great success. Miss Clara Stephenson, as Alessio, looked very pretty, and made a decided hit. Mr. Collier was successful as Count ißr»derigo. Miss Lizzie Morgan sang aduural .-, and the audience insisted on a double .encore. Mr. Thornton's scenery in both pieces wa3 greatly admired, particularly a lake scene in the first. To-night will be produced the well-known " Caste," to be followed by the burlesque of "Lurline."
