New Zealaud Hzbaid Office, Tuesday evening. Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son sold this day at their mart Fort-street, 24 bales paperhangings ex Columbus. Trom London. Thore was a good attendance of the trade, and prices realised were from 2Jd to lljd per roll. ~ , Messrs. E. and H. Isaacs report of sale of ship's stores, ex Carisbrooke Castle, that the attendance was very large, and the bidding spirited. Although a very largd quantity of goods were submitted, which, as a rule, lowers the price of the commodity, in this, instance they did not find the slightest difference, it being attributed to the very superier class of provisions submitted.
