PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.
The Fakir of Oolu (Dr. .Silvester) repeated his very popular entertainment last evening, comprising tlie usual examples of parlour magic, "masks and faccs," by Miss Silvester, the mesmeric illustrations of national and emblematic figures, "the swinglug in the air without any visible support," concluding with the " fairy fountain." All these have upon various occasions been duly noticed. The whole of them constitute an entertainment of a peculiar—almost unicjue description. This afternoon Dr. Silvester will give his second " grand" exhibition to the juveniles. He lias been good enough to invite the children of the Orphanage. Those who were present at the last mid-day exhibition will recollect how large a contribution the shouts of surprise and merriment by the little folks themselves made towards the spirit of the entertainment. It may be necessary here to state that the Anoetos, or anything else that would have the effect of unpleasant surprise or excitement, will not be performed. A drum and life band will be present under Caj)tain Dignan. It is, we think, judicious to avoid any occasion of giving fright. This evening will be the last of the Fakir's engagement. Mr. DeLias, the lessee, has given the theatre on Monday for the benefit of Miss Silvester. This young lady has been so prominent a part of this exhibition that the public will readily recognise her claim to a large and special patronage.
