New Zealand Herai.ii Office, Tuesday evening. The Customs duties collected today amounted to £409 10s Cd. Messrs. B. Tonks and Co. report holding at their mart, this day, a trade sale of Mauritius Bugars. The trade was well represented and most o? the lines, offered were q-iitted, some at satisfactory and some at rather low prices. The size of the packages were, to a certain extent, adverse to their ready sale. The sugars were in largo mats which many object to, owing to thn loss the purchaser sustains in not sufficient ta.e being allowed for these packages. Altogether, from SO to 90 tons of sugar were sold at prices ranging from i:27 17s Cd to 1134 per ton. Mr. G. W.
