For example, a person aged forty, insured under a Policy on which five annual payments had been made, would not forfeit it on account of non payment of premiums until the expiration of five years and eighty-six days from date of default, provided that the other conditions of tho Policy had not been violated, and it could be renewed at any time within such term, on paying up arrears with interest: or i it become a claim within that time, the Policy would be paid, less arrears with interest. No policy need therefore be sacrificed in consequence of the pressure of any temporary loss of employment or other monetary embarrassment.
