Isaacs' sale of ship's stores and groceries, this day, there was a very full attendance of the trade, and bidding for the ship's stores was spirited. For the groceries and oilman's stores not so much liveliness was exhibited, although the most part, of the goods were understood 10 he sold • vithoui reserve; stilt the trade appeared cautious in not buying beyond their wants. The auctioneers deem this a wholesome feature in the trade;—it signifies care and discretion, thereby rendering tha trade sound. Prices on the whole ruled fair, but uureruuner -.tive to the sellers. Goods amounting to about £12,000 '.verc quitted.
