At tho same time Mauritius rations brought £22 &s to £22 15s, and yellow counters were sold at £31. leas are not much inquired for; sales of fine congous in half-chests, new season's, are reported, however, at is lid; 2700 packages new congous, ei Flintshire and Legislator, will bo submitted to i»mpjtition tomorrow afternoon. Oilmen's stores are still inquired for and a few sales have keen made, chiefly salad oils, which have brought 9s 9d for pints and 5s 9d for Jiallpiafs. A parcel of 450 cases salmon was disposed of publicly, when lis 3d was 'accepted for the lib. tins. Kerosene oil does not improve as yet; some IC9O cases diamond oil were got rid of in the forenoon at Is 3Jd. Candles were not sold, when offered by auction. Offers were made, but holders appear determined to make a stand agains l ; a further reduction, and the parcel wat withdrawn. In liquids we hear an improving trade demand, for brandy. Equal to CO hhds. Hennessy's and MarteH's have changed hand 3 at full rates. GOVERNMENT LAND SALE.
