Sir, —Allow me, through the medium o£ your valuable paper, to state that, in my opinion, Captain Casey has acted very generously in offering to his weeldy-paid crew, ot" the steamer Lady Bowen the sum of £100 sterling, for services rendered to the ship Miltiades.—L am, &c, K. B. PKIXCSI.E, Twenty-five years ship-master in one employ out of Liverpool. Auckland, Aug. 19, 1574.-
