[Beforo Ilia Honor Thomas Beckham, Esq., District Judge.] Lewisson- v. Ue Pkiii.—Claim £36 lis lid. Mr. Alexander appeared for the plaintiff, who deposed that since the action was brought the defendant Imd paid him £21, leuvinga balance due of £15 lis lid. Judgment for plaintiff. Whiglky y. Montrose —Claim £23 la 4:1. Mr. James .Russell appeared for the plaintiff. The action was brought upon two bills of £10 given by the defendant to plaintiff. Both bills bore the same date, one for two months and the other for four months, the defendant did not appear, and judgment passed for plaintiff.
