The Tweedside tributera crushed 17 tons for 104 ounces of retorted gold. The Bright Smile gold melted to 822J ounces. The Moanatairi gold melted to 566f ounces. Caledonian have crushed for the week 180 tons of quartz, for a yield of 360 0-53. of gold and 100 tons of tailings for 40 ozs., or a total for the week of 400 ozs. retorted gold. The Windsor Castle crushed 70 tons of stone for 61 ozs. 12 dwts. melted gold. Golden Crown gold was reduced by melting to 124 ozs. 7 dwts., and that of the tributera to 152 ozs. 4 dwts. The Alburnia gold only lost 2 ozs. 14 dwts., and now weighs, after melting, 127 oza. 6 dwts. The market is quiet. Caledonian, sellers, £15 ; Cure, 20s ; Thames, 755.
