The Nonpareil expect 150 ounces for the mouth. 8.56 p.m. The sinking of the Caledonian shaft haa been taken at £55 per fathom until the No. 2 reef is cut. The Red Queen have just taken out a bucket of very rich specimens from the winze. The Junction have obtained 47 ounces from 45 tons. Tho Coliban crushing is looking first-rate. The Moapatairi Union got some very nic e stone this evening, gold showing i'l several places. The Cock-a-Doodle crushod 80 lbs. of stone, and get 13 ounces of melted gold. The sharemarket is drooping, aud very | little busiuess has been don© during the day. The manager of the Albuniiu has lodged 101 ozs. 10 dwts. of gold, being the result of the lato irregular crushing; specimens now going through at tho Herald machine.
