I We understand that a numerously-signed requisition, calling upon the members of tho : City Board to resign in a body, was handed in .' to Mr. Robert Hampton on Saturday morn!ing, with a request that he would lay it beforo the Board on Tuesday next (to-morrow). The request to resign does not, of course, apply to tho newlv-elected members, Messrs. { Uuinpton and Tonks. What action tho other j members of the Board "ill tu'<e in the matter I remains to be seen.
