This claim is again in a fait way to pay handsome dividends. I believe there was lodged in the Bank of New Zealand on Saturday last 256 ozs. 2 dwts. of retorted gold, the result?of a crushing of from 50 to 55 tons. This quantity was taken ffom the plates. There are 200 tons ready for crushing, and we helieve there will be no cleaning up for some days yet. The claim is still crushing at Goodall's battery, where ten stampers will be permanently engaged.
