THE New Zealand Almanac, 1870. IT is intended to publish this popular animal early in December next. Considerable addition and improvement will bo introduced that with the advancement of the Colony in real wealth it may keep its place as the first and best NEW ZEALAND ANNUAL HAND-BOOK. Since the first issue of this publication the population of the Colony has increased from 72,000 to 227,000 souls, and the exports from £551,000 to nearly £5,000,000 sterling per annum. The Edition for IS7O, being entirely remodelled, Trill show the real centres of the population, Exports, Imports, Shipping, Commerce, Mining, and Manufactures of the Colony.
