ONE WHO HAS USED PIPECLAY AS A VOLUNTEER.
To the Editor of the Hebaed. Sib, —Seeing in the columns of your paper of thu date a letter signed "No Pipeclay," a victim to hii own negligence, and making use of very discourteous language to the officers connected with the artillery and nariil volunteers, I, as a member of the corps, any that it is high time that some of the men should be" brought to account for their bad attendance, as also for their want of respect towards their officers, showing unmistakably that if required for serrice they would be in the guardroom for insubordination in no time, and nu>n with less to say but more work ia their hearts would hare to do their duty. The improvement.of the corps would be best consulted bygetting rid of auch members. There are lots of better men who would then most willingly supply their places. —I am, &c, A Member op the A.V.A.
