AUCKLAND RACES.
The following letter has been received by Captain William Frazor relative to the date when it would convenient for his Bjyal Highness to attend the races. . r > Dake of Edinburgh has been informed that,it will be inconvenient to hold the Auckland Baco Meeting on the 18th and 19th mat.' His Koyal therefore directs me to acqa&lnt y°u» for tho information of the C >mmittee of the Jookty. Club, that Tuesday the 25th and 26th would suit Lis Royal Highness. I will be glad to hear th«t the new arrangement meets the wish of the committee.—T am, &e., Abthue Haioh. i We may state that the reason the ISth and 19th are considerod to be inoonvenient davs was that tho Thames races are held on those davs. * His Kxollenoy the Governor, with hi Royal Highness, will b* patron of the races and will be present with the Duke of Edinburgh each day of the meeting.
