I JAMES'S Q.O.E. HOTEL, VICTORIA-STREET, ! AUCKLAND. I J LOUIS ROSE JAMES T>2GS to express his grateful acknowledgements for tho very liberal patronage which has been bo stowed upon him by bis friends and the public at large during the past twelve months. In order to meet the requirements of the increased popularity of the Q.C.E., where QUALITY, CLEANLINESS, AND ECONOMY are rightly studied and adhered to, L. R. J. has, at considerable expense, ENLARGED his PREMISES, and added ten new Bedroome for the accommodation of his patrons. These, -with hie comfortably furnished Private Sitting-rooms for Families, and the varied and profuse TABLE D'HOTE, ■which is laid each day at 1 p.m. precisely, enable him to offer such accommodation to visitors as will, he feels sure, bear favorable comparison with the FIRST HOTEL IN AUCKLAND. The WINES and SPIRITS are of unexceptionable quality. Temporary visitors to Auckland are respectfully resquested to (HTE the Q.C.E., Victoriastreet, a TRIAL, where, if civility and attention combined ■with moderate charges are calculated to produce a favorable impression, L. R. J. ha* no fear for the results. A NIGHT PORTER is always in attendance for the accommodation of travellers by late boats from the Thames; the Night Bell being immediately under the Lamp REMEMBER THE ADDRESS: JAMES'S Q.C.E.
