THE NATHAN JUVENILE TROUPE.
The Prince of Wales Theatre was well filled on Saturday evening, and the carte of the Nathan Troupe was both heavy and excellent in quality. We were treated, in the first place, to a most amusing little play, entitled " The Youth who never saw a "Woman," in which Miss Julia Nathan took the part of the unsophisticated rustic with great spirit. The graceful little Selina won unqualified admiration, and made a most charming little " bird." Mr. Joseph Srmall sang one of his most laughable Irish comic songs in the interlude, and was encored, as also were the Masters Nathan in an extremely pretty cornet duet— " What arc the Wild Waves Saving." Mr. Ohnmbers executed a very brilliant transformation jni.i de aeul, .vliicli was received with great delight. "The Omnibus," a laughable Irish tares, followed, in which the little Marion Nathan took the part- of Pat Kooney, the garrulous and mischievious Irish valet, and it would be difficult to decide in which character this extraordinary little public favorite is the best, Pat Kooney, or Paddy Murphy in " Paddy in India." Both pieces were loudly applauded, and in the extravaganza Miss Selina Nathan received great praise for her geaceful acting. Mrs. B. M. Nathan, Mr. J. Small, and Mr. J. Chambers, form a most excellent background, as it were, for the Juvenile Troupe to work upon, and the undoubted merits of La Petite Marion are of course prominently before tlxe public. The same programme will be repeated this evening.
