Drunkenness.—For thie offence, Wa. Brown and George Keely were fined each Oβ. and costs, or 24 hours' imprisonment. Bbbaches of the Impounding Act.—Emily Foroman and Bridget Parker were summoned by Sergeant Beilly for allowing their pigs to go at large in Victoria Quadrant, on 25th June. It appears the (Jity Board have lately been making some improvements in the district in question, and what littlothey had done waa demolished in one night, by animals beiDg allowed to roam at will over the works.—Mr. Naughton said as this was a first offence, the full penalty -would not be pressed for, but he wished the public to understand that in future the full penalty would be exacted. A fine of Is. and costs was imposed. BbeAch op the Municipal Poxice Act. —A lad named Charles Hooker, pleaded guilty to breaking a pane of glass in a house in Hobson-street, and was fined Is. 6d., and costs.
