ARRIVAL OF THE ONKHUNGA. The fine schooner Onchunga, in command of Captair 3rr,ith, arrived in harbour last evening from Dunedin, with a cargo of 70 tons flour, 5 tons wheat, and 3 tons oats ; and 2 passengers—Messrs. Perriman and Tonley. The Onehunga sailed from Dunedin on the 20th February, and experienced contrary winds throughout the passage. The Onehunga sighted a brig and one or two smftH vessels on the coast bound^South. "We aro indebted to Mr Perriman (cvn6r of the vessel) for Dunedin files to date of sailing, but the news contained in them has been anticipated by the liord Ashlay.

The steamer Tauranga, Captain Sollars, returned from the Thames last evening after a fine run of 4J hours from Shortland Town. She brought up 25 passenger?, and about 500 ounces of pold. Tho cutter Don arrived from Wangapoa last evening with a cargo of timber. The PTkuo.—Tho cutter Hero, Davies, master, arrived from Wangarei last evoning with produce and passengers. Tkb WatrE'BV.— The fine brig Waverley is discharging; her oarcjo of sugar, tei, ri<"o. &c., from Hongkong and Batavia, with nil possible despatch, and her orero is turning out in splendid condition, a most satisfactory roßult, taking into consideration the severe weather encountered by this yosbpl on her passage from Batavia to this port. The s.s. Midge, Captain Ptuart, will resume her trips to the Thames ditrptings to-morrow morning. The s.s. Star of the Sou'h was to leave "Napier for this port with a caTgr. of sheep on Tuesday last, and may be expected in harbour this evening. Tub .Take,—The regular trader Jnr.o, Captain Moller, has made another smart run to Tauranga and bant. She left Tauranga on Tuesday evening, and brings tho following passengers:—Mr. and Mrs. Kenny and child, Messrs. Hurley, Clark, Young, Mmpaon, and several militiameu. There were no other vessels at Tauranga when the Jane sailed. The cutter Bella, hence, arrived at Tauranga on Tuesday last. Tho cutter Hazard, from Maketu, arrived at Tauranga on Tuesday last, and sailed again on the aamo dayThe cutter Catherine, arrived from Port Chbries yesterday, with a citgo of timber. The Ai.arm —The cutter Alarm, Seymour, master, arrived from Mangawai yesterday, with 1 ton gum, •J ton cheese, 2 bales wool, 22 head cattle, and 10 pas' sengers. The Xvawhoe. —Tho schooner Tvanhoe, Captain McQrepor, left Mongonui on Monday evsning, and experienced head winds throughout. She brings 80 bushels maize, 11 tons gum, and 1 passenger. The schooner Mary Thompson was lying at Kaipara Heads on Wednesday last, bound for Nelson with timber.

The schooner "Kxcelßior, from Taranaki, and the schooner little Fred from Onehunga, were loading timber on Wednesday at Kaip&rft.
