PROVINCIAL COUNCIL.
The Council met yesterday at the usual hour. The Council was occupied from three o'clock until ten o'clock in considering the estimates. Most salaries have been reduced. The particulars will be found in our ordinary report of the proceedings. The report of the Provincial Surgeon upon the Hospital and Asylum were laid on the table. The Council adjourned at ten o'clock till Tuesday next, at three o'clock.
