The Sbtbrx.—The smart clipper cufter Severn, Downes, roaster, left the Thames gold-field at 11 p.m. on Wednesday last, had light head Triads on the passage up, and arrived in harbourat 6 p.m. yesterday making a good run up ; she comes in ballast, with 0 passengers. Tlie cutter Diamond was to leave at high water yesterday, and the cutter Sydney arrived there yesterday morning. The Severn leaves again for the Thamoa to-day.

Tins Meteoe.—The schooner ]Meteor, Capt. Jones, which left Kaiapoi for this port on the 23rd ult., was at the Bay of Plenty at the date cf last advices, filling up with grain and produce. She may now bo hourly looked for.

'Ihe cutter "Willie"Wintie, Owen, mas'or, sailediast night for Opotiki via the Thames, with a full cargo of potatoes.

The cutter Tour Sitters, Kadfield, master, arrived last evening from the Wade sith a cargo of kauri gum, and 2 passenger?. She leaves agaiu to-morrow.

Dosaid Ucl^ax.—Tho schooner Donald McLean, Capt Baker, arrived in harbour yesterdav morning from the East Coast, bringing up a cargo of maize, pork, wool, &e. ; also, the following passengers : —Air. Davidson, Mr. Bradly, and Mr. and Mrs. Grey. She is last from Hicks' B~iy, having left there on Jlonday last, and had variable weather during the passage. The schooners Meteor and Joanna and cutter 3 Mahurangi and Bittern, bound here, were lying at Hicks' Bay. The brig Flying Cloud, Captain A. Cunningham, cleared at the Customs, yesterday, for Sydney, with a general cargo and some twenty passengers. Sho sailed last night. The cutter Alarm, Seymour, master, from Mongawai, arrived yesterday afternoon with produce and passengers.

'Ihe p.s. Enterprise No. 2, Captain Scon, steamed yesterday afternoon for the Thames gold-fields, with a cargo of timber, stores, &c., and several passeDgorß.

The cutter Sovereign of tha Seas, Mohler, master, arrived yeaterday afternoon from Tanranga yia Wangaparapara and Matakana, in- ballast. Sho reports having left on Tuesday laEt and brings up 3 passengers. The cuttcr Henry, Bobinson, master, is announoed to leave far the Thames Gold Field, to-day.

The schooner, Lily, from Waiheki, with firewood, arrived yesterday morning eai-ly, and eailed again last erening for the same place, in ballast.

The cutter Cornstalk, 'Clark, master, arrived from Goromindel, with timbar, on Wednesday night.

The cutter Rapid, Couldry, master, sailed yesterday for the Wairoa, with cargo and passengers.

The cutter, Wave, Eagleton, master, arrived yesterday, from Wangapoa, with a cargo of sawn timber, which was discharged at the North Shore. The cutter, Tay, left yesterday for Matakana, in ballast.

The cutter Bose, Philpot, master, sailed yesterday for Mercury Bay, with sundries and passengers.

The schooner Jnlia, Coupland, master, arrived last night from Mnraiti, with a cargo of firewood.

The cutter Alacrity, Smith, master, sailed yesterday for the Wade, with sundries and passengers.

The A k Go. —The schooner Argo, Oaptain Jones, which left this port for tho East Coast on Friday night last, would have a good run down, sho being sighted, on Sunday morning, rounding the East Cape.
