This Day. Mr. Ball to movo, when the resolutions affecting tho administration of the Waste lands of this Province are under consideration, That provision be mado that, under special circumstances, persons desirous of completing their properties may be allowed to purchaso adjoining lands of irregular shape and email extent. Captain Coopeh to move, That an address be presented to the Superintendent expressing the desire of this Council that a bill or b.'lls should bo brought before the General Assembly next sosßion, to authoriso his Honor to carry out the rocommendntion of a select committee relative to granting land to Captain Petty. Captain Cooper to move, That this Council is o opinion that in event of any member of Council accepting oflico (that may bccomo vacant by the death or resignation of any member of the Executivo), he shall ref-ign his seat in the Council, and appeal to liis constituents for re-olection. On a Future Day, Mr. Siiekiun to move. That the petition of Thomas Mellett be roferred to the Committee on Petitions -when formed.
