COMPLIMENTARY CONCERT TO HIS EXCELLENCY SIR GEORGE GREY, K.C.B.

This event, which has been looked forward to for some time past, will come off this evening. The preparations promise a very brilliant assemblage, and the array of talent a musical treat rarely to be met with. The concert will open with Beethoven's Grand Mass in O, to be followed by an interlude in the way of a song of welcome by a band of real " Maori" minstrels. The second part will comprise a miscellaneous selection of overtures, songs, glees, part songs. The tickets are extremely moderate in price, and wc anticipate an evening of rare musical entertainment.

Tlic Masonic body •will be represented by tlie heads and members of the various lodges. We are further requested to remind tlio ladies and gentlemen who arc to take part in this evening's concert, that they will be required to give their attendance in the Brunswick Hall at half-past seven this evening precisely.
