Messes. C. Arthur and Son will sell today, at tlicir stores, sundry lots of drapery, clolliing, books, tubs, single-barrel gun, pistol, Auckland bacon and liams, clieesc, &c. Mb. Alfred Buckland will sell to-day, at tlio Papakura market, 40 head of cattlc, dairy cows, grown steers, and young cattle. Messrs. Bright and Co. will sell to-day, at tlie new store of Mr. A. Cunuingliam, Victoriastreet East (above the Greyhound), 50 Wairoa cheeses,2o kegs of butter, 20 bags of seed oats, 50 bags of feed oats, maize, poultry, 10 tons of potatoes, onions, &c. Messes. Samuel Cochrane and Son will sell to-day, at their stores, Fort-street, a large number of valuable effects :—revolvers, field-glasses, despatch boxes, tools, whips, regalia, watches, lockets, trinkets, silverware, plate, &c., formerly belonging to the late D. A. G. G. Ellcington ; also, a quantity of valuable inlaid furniture, fireproof safes, books, a large and varied assortment of drapery ; also, GO barrels of Portland cement, in good order. Mn. G-. Dunnet and Co. will sell to-day, at the Durham Yards, the race-horses Contractor and Euclid, 14 saddle horses, G light harness horses, 4 heavy draught ditto, 40 fat pigs; also, saddles, saddlery, harness, a good spring cart and horse, 2 "good cobs, cliesmit marc, &c. Messrs. Wir. Hunter and Co. will hold to--day, at Papakura, their monthly sale :—2O two-year-old steers, dairy cows, store stock, horses, pigs, sheep, &c. Mn. Heney Ridings will sell to-day, at his mart, for cash, without reserve, 100 trunks of ladies' and gentlemen's winter boots, ex Mary Shepherd, of all sizes and patterns ; also, a fullcompass rosewood cottage piano (Broadwood's). Mn. George Sibbin tvill hold to-day, on the premises of J. G. Percy, a prcmptory sale of the whole of his grocery stock and household furniture, gasfittiugs, fixtures, &c.
