HARAPIPI.
(I'r.on oub own correspondent.) March 25tli,
During the past week we were favored with a visit from the Llev. Mr. Norrie, Presbyterian Minister of Papakura, ho sa- accompanied by the Rev. Mr. Blcin who has been appointed by the Presbytery of Auckland to this district ; Sir. Norrie held Eervice in the blockhouse in tho evening, after the service he formally introduced Mr. Blaiu to the congregation, and suggested that a committee should be formed to colleet°whatover subscriptions the inhabitants are able to afford towards tho support of the- minister, as the society that give £100 per annum towards his support, in this case are only able to give £o0 ; he is to look after the spiritual wants of all this sido of the Waipa, pl.so Kihikihi, Te Awamutu. und Orakau, so tha between iiaglan and the above places he will have quite enough to do. The Presbyterians deserve some credit for being the first to appoint a regular minister iu this district, of course there being no other minister, many others attend who belong to tho Church of England.
