ARRIVAL OF THE H.M.S.S. CHALLENGER.

Yesterday forenoon, H.M.S.S. Challenger came up the harbour saluting the broad pennant of Sir ffiti. Wiseman with eleven guns, which, the Challenger being still, a -private ship, was returned with seven guns. 'lhe Curagoa, we are informed, takes her departure on Tuesday, and when she shows her stern round the .North Head Commodore McGuire will hoist his pennant, which will then be saluted bj' the ships of the squadron. H.M.S.S. Eclipse, Commander Frcdinantle, sails for England on Monday morning.
