Harris, S.N. ft ; left heads at 1 p.m., Monday last, September 17th, with English mails via Suez. Experienced fresh and moderate winds from S.W. to W. and N.W. with squally weather the whole passage. Arrived hero at 4V40 p.m., this day, Saturday, September 22nd. We believe this is the fastest passage on record from Sydney, beating the one made by the P.N.Z. s.s. Rangitoto, of May 18G5, which was accomplished in 0 days and 2| hours, she being commanded by ,Capt. R. Harris. The Auckland brings a general cargo for this port, : aUo the following passengers ; —Mr. Rochefort, Miss Bochefort, Mr. and Mrs. MePhorson and family, and Mrs, Pherson and family, Colonel Baily, Messrs. fiunn, Atkins, Levy, McDermott, Kandel, Bradley, G. The schooner Kate Grant, Captain McLiver, arrived in harbour early on Saturday moruiug last from New Caledonia, via iMorfolk Island, and Lord Howe'ti Island, bringing a cargo of maize, pics, oil, produce, &c. She left Norfolk 'island on Tuesday •week last, and had rough weather to this coast, which jvas Bighted on Wednesday last. The ketch Speedwell, Captain Edwards, had sailed 'Tram. Norfolk Island for Sydney, with oil, and wool. &c. " The -cutter Ruse, hence, had arrived at New Caledonia, thirty days out. ARRIVAL OF THE HARRIET KING. The brigantine Harriet King, Captain McDonald, arrived in harbour late on Saturdny night last, from Newcastle, N.S.W., bringing a cargo of 230 tons coals for Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane. She has had a moderate passage of nine days, making a .fine run to thiscoast. ARBIVAL OF THE LOMBARD. The barque Lombard, Captain Patterson, fourteen •days from Gladstone, Queensland, anchored oil' the • North Head on Saturday last.
