AUCKLAND. Neat Zealand Hbeald Office, Tuesday afternoon. The Customs Receipts for to-day amounted to £823 lis Bd, and that for the month of July, just ended, £11,750 19s 7d, of which £11,508 Ifia Id was fir duties; i'-'O 15s fees under thi Arms Act; £15G 5s Gd for light dues ; £9 G» fees under the Merchant shipping Act; and C-i, 17a miscellaneous receipts. To-day Mr. S. Cochrane sold by auction tho whole of tho plant of Messrs. Maitland and Co., contractors, consequent upon tho completion of their wharf contract. Tho whole was cleared, off at satisfactory prices, except the largo totara pilosGO feet long, for which there was no offer. Mossrst Mot'aul nnd Higg, sold at auction, to-day, Honnessy'a pale brandy, 31s ; three daggers ditto, 265; cognac ditto, 13s; sherry (duty paid), 2Ss ; port, 28s ; Joffory's ale, 12s 6d ; Allsopp's ditto, 12s ; lAfartell's pale brandy, 8s ; dark ditto, 7s rum, 3s 9d ; tobacco (duty paid), -Is; Balad oil, 10s 6d ; sardines, 8s 6d ; Sydney candles, BJd ; sperm ditto Is 4d ; tesij Is 4d per lb j &e., &c.
